PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE CERTIFICATION (PPC)
Obtain or Renew Your Certified Accounting Practitioner (CAP) Credential
The Professional Practice Certification (PPC) is RPA Canada’s mandatory certification program for members seeking to obtain or renew the Certified Accounting Practitioner (CAP) credential.
The CAP credential is valid for five (5) years. To maintain an active CAP designation, practitioners must successfully complete the Professional Practice Certification (PPC) Renewal Program before their certification expires.
This comprehensive two-day program is designed to strengthen professional competence, enhance technical knowledge, and reinforce current best practices in public practice. Through interactive sessions covering technical updates, ethics, practice management, technology, quality management, and emerging issues affecting accounting practitioners, participants will gain practical knowledge that can be immediately applied in practice.
Whether you are obtaining your CAP credential for the first time or renewing your existing certification, successful completion of the PPC ensures you continue to meet RPA Canada’s professional standards while demonstrating your commitment to excellence, ethical practice, and high-quality client service
