The Professional Practice Certificate (PPC) Training Program is a mandatory requirement for RPA members who wish to obtain or renew their Certificate of Accounting Practice (CAP).

The PPC Training Program is a comprehensive two-day program designed to strengthen professional skills, update technical knowledge, and reinforce current standards and best practices in accounting and public practice.

For new applicants, successful completion of the PPC Training Program is required before becoming eligible to apply for a new Certificate of Accounting Practice. The CAP application and certificate fee are separate from the PPC Training Program fee. Completion of the PPC Training Program does not automatically grant the CAP.

For existing certificate holders, the Certificate of Accounting Practice is valid for five (5) years. Certificate holders must successfully complete the PPC Renewal Program before applying to renew their CAP.

The program helps practitioners remain current, strengthen their professional competency, and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to ethical practice, professional excellence, and quality client service.
