PRO ACHIEVE 2026 is a special, one-time FAST-TRACK pathway for non-designated accounting and tax practitioners to earn the Registered Professional Accountant (RPA) designation.

President Announced PRO ACHIEVE 2026

Dear Accounting Practitioner, Across Ontario and Canada, thousands of experienced accounting and tax practitioners work every day supporting small and medium-sized businesses. Many of these professionals have built strong expertise and trusted relationships with their clients, yet they often operate without the benefit of formal professional recognition.

Recognizing the important role you play in serving Canada’s business community, I am proud to announce that RPA Canada has launched PRO ACHIEVE 2026, a special one-time FAST-TRACK pathway designed specifically for non-designated accounting and tax practitioners.

The PRO ACHIEVE 2026 program combines focused education, training, and assessment designed to acknowledge your existing experience while helping you strengthen your professional standing. By earning the RPA designation, practitioners can enhance their credibility, strengthen trust with individual and business clients, and position themselves for greater opportunities within Canada’s accounting profession.

This initiative is also about protecting the public interest. Canadians deserve confidence that the accounting professionals they rely on are qualified, accountable, and guided by a strong professional code of conduct.

As President & CEO of RPA Canada, I made a commitment to policymakers and the business community to help strengthen professional standards while ensuring that access to professional recognition remains practical, affordable, and inclusive for experienced practitioners. PRO ACHIEVE 2026 delivers on that commitment.

To further support practitioners, RPA Canada is offering a $500 scholarship (education credit) to eligible participants who enroll in this special fast-track program.

I encourage all qualified practitioners to take advantage of this limited, one-time opportunity.

Make 2026 the year you earn the professional recognition you deserve.

Here’s what RPA practitioners say about earning their RPA: it adds value, structure, and confidence—helping them achieve the professional recognition they deserve. Make 2026 your year of achievement with the RPA designation.

I realized that having a designation helps you stand out and makes your clients more confident in your work. That is why I decided to become an RPA. I prepared for the exam for six months and succeeded. I am proud and confident to be an RPA. This designation has strengthened my confidence and increased my clients’ trust. It is truly a win-win situation.
